Mechanical Assembly Lead - Thomson Power Systems
Overview
We seek a Mechanical Assembly Lead to lead switchgear assembly at our new Arlington facility. This role drives project completion while upholding safety quality and productivity standards. You will collaborate with supervisors to mentor teams and promote lean practices.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead mechanical assembly of switchgear enclosures frames and bus structures per drawings and BOM
- 2Assign daily tasks balance workload and adjust priorities based on production schedules
- 3Assist Production Supervisor with workstation setup and material preparation
- 4Conduct daily tier meetings Gemba walks and VDMs following RBS standards
- 5Ensure compliance with ISO site standards EHS procedures and promote RBS values
- 6Drive continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing practices
- 7Collaborate with extended team on safety quality and investigation issues
- 8Complete employer-provided training within first six weeks
- 9Maintain ability to lift thirty pounds and enter data accurately
- 10Work overtime when required in Arlington TX
- 11Support team growth and operational excellence
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or GED minimum with technical diploma or certification preferred
- 2Five years of direct manufacturing experience in electrical panel or switchgear assembly
- 3Proven leadership experience managing crews of assemblers technicians
- 4Strong knowledge of low medium voltage switchgear assembly wiring and schematics
- 5Ability to troubleshoot electrical mechanical problems with limited precedent
- 6Demonstrated adherence to Regal Rexnord values
- 7Employer-provided training completion within first six weeks
- 8Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 9Physical ability to lift thirty pounds and maintain accurate data entry
- 10Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- 11Arlington TX residency
