Manage and coordinate Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) ensuring MDS and Care Area Assessments (CAAs) compliance. Drive optimized reimbursement through PDPM adherence. Support accurate documentation and federal state regulation adherence. Provide competitive benefits package.
What You'll Do11
- 1Supervise MDS Nurse interviews and training as requested
- 2Plan assign direct work and prepare assignment sheets considering patient safety education experience
- 3Receive calls and find replacements for absent staff
- 4Prepare performance evaluations impacting tenure probationary employees wage increases
- 5Resolve employee complaints and monitor performance as requested
- 6Participate in performance improvement plans
- 7Adequately supervise staff ensuring proper supervision of assigned personnel
- 8Utilize independent judgment on organizational performance duties
- 9Maintain knowledge of RAI guidelines PDPM ICD-10 coding Quality Measures CAAs processes
- 10Understand prospective payment process (PPS) and case mix payment systems
- 11Apply personal computer software applications for job functions
Requirements7
- 1Prior MDS/RAI experience strongly preferred
- 2Knowledge of RAI process including PPS principles
- 3Regulatory standards compliance knowledge
- 4Working knowledge of personal computer software applications
- 5Strong organizational analytical skills oral written communication
- 6Supervisory experience preferred
- 7Demonstrated independent functioning leadership abilities
