What You'll Do14
- 1Handle large-format textile materials and fabric rolls throughout the manufacturing process
- 2Measure mark and cut fabric according to production specifications and work orders
- 3Prepare organize and stage fabric for sewing assembly and finishing operations
- 4Hold position and maneuver large fabric panels during processing activities
- 5Operate fabric sealing bonding heat-sealing or related production equipment
- 6Inspect materials for defects damage or quality concerns before production
- 7Verify dimensions material type and specifications to ensure product accuracy
- 8Assist sewing operators by ensuring materials are properly prepared and readily available
- 9Complete required production documentation accurately and timely
- 10Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- 11Follow all company safety policies quality standards and operating procedures
- 12Troubleshoot minor equipment and material issues and report concerns to supervision
- 13Meet established productivity efficiency and quality expectations
- 14Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing textile production fabric processing or related field
- 3Experience working with large-format materials and fabric handling
- 4Ability to read and interpret work orders measurements and production specifications
- 5Basic math and measurement skills
- 6Strong attention to detail commitment to quality
- 7Ability to lift pull bend and move materials as needed
- 8Commitment to safety continuous improvement and operational excellence
- 9Frequent standing walking bending stooping reaching twisting and lifting
- 10Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- 11Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation material handling and equipment adjustments
