Manufacturing Technician - Aero Industries
Overview
We seek a highly capable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. You will assemble product components operate manufacturing equipment maintain machinery and ensure product quality. This role drives efficiency safety and quality across operations.
What You'll Do11
- 1Set up and operate machinery by positioning parts loading materials and entering specifications
- 2Perform manufacturing and assembly tasks including fabrication and welding of fabrics
- 3Safely start operate and shut down production equipment
- 4Conduct inspections to ensure product functionality and appearance meet standards
- 5Identify defects and ensure compliance with customer specifications
- 6Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery troubleshoot equipment issues and complete minor repairs
- 7Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report major issues
- 8Monitor and adjust machine settings to improve efficiency
- 9Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and 5S
- 10Complete production records shift reports and incident reports
- 11Follow all SOPs safety policies and OSHA regulations
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 2Associate’s degree in Manufacturing Industrial Technology Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- 3Experience with fabrication welding and assembly especially fabric welding
- 4Strong mechanical aptitude ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- 5Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- 6Soft problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities excellent organization and time management effective communication and teamwork skills
- 7MSSC Certified Production Technician or similar industry certifications
