Material Handler, Warehouse & Logistics
Overview
You will own material flow for GAC Enterprises' warehouse and yard, supporting telecom and utility crews across the U.S. You'll track inventory, receive shipments, and dispatch materials to job sites, keeping projects on schedule. You'll work with forklifts, pallet jacks, and inventory tracking systems in a team that values accuracy and safety. What You'll Do8
- 1Track and manage inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and ensure accurate recording with inventory tracking systems.
- 2Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, verify quantities, and prepare for storage.
- 3Dispatch materials and equipment to job sites per project requirements, coordinating with project managers.
- 4Maintain warehouse documentation: POs, delivery receipts, and inventory logs.
- 5Organize and store materials to optimize space, accessibility, and safety.
- 6Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, shelving) and report issues promptly.
- 7Follow safety procedures and report hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
- 8Support fleet operations by transporting materials or equipment as needed.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred or 3+ years of warehouse/logistics experience.
- 2Experience working with cross-functional teams in construction or logistics environments.
- 3Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- 4Ability to use inventory tracking systems or warehouse management tools.
- 5Valid driver's license required.
- 6Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
