You will own the outbound shipment process for a 6-month contract in Northborough, MA, handling 30-50 lbs loads and operating pallet jacks and forklifts. What You'll Do8
- 1Package and prepare pallets for outbound shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- 2Load and unload inbound and outbound truck and parcel shipments, prioritizing safety and accuracy.
- 3Transport inventory across tech centers and warehouse using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- 4Enter shipment and inventory data into a customized ERP system to maintain real-time accuracy.
- 5Generate shipments through carriers including FedEx, DHL, and USPS, ensuring correct labels and documentation.
- 6Communicate with clients and carriers via email to confirm delivery schedules and resolve issues.
- 7Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records, reducing discrepancies by the end of the first 90 days.
- 8Support daily warehouse operations, including organizing storage areas and staging outbound orders.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 21+ years in warehousing, inventory management, or material handling.
- 3Experience with forklift operation or pallet jack certification.
- 41+ years coordinating shipments via FedEx, DHL, or USPS preferred.
- 5Hands-on experience with ERP systems and data entry.
- 6Proven attention to detail and commitment to quality in shipping records.
- 7Ability to follow written and verbal instructions exactly.
- 8Physical capability to lift 30-50 lbs and stand, walk, or bend for full shifts.
