What You'll Do8
- 1Apply masking materials such as tape, caps, and plugs to parts before coating or finishing, ensuring exact coverage per specs.
- 2Remove masking after coating without damaging finished surfaces, preserving part integrity.
- 3Inspect parts before and after masking to verify proper coverage and quality, flagging defects.
- 4Read and follow work instructions and blueprints to execute precise masking patterns.
- 5Handle parts carefully to prevent contamination, scratches, or surface damage throughout the process.
- 6Report defects or equipment issues to supervisors immediately to minimize downtime.
- 7Maintain a clean, organized workstation, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- 8Meet daily production targets by sustaining expected quality and output levels.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2Previous experience in masking, painting, coating, manufacturing, or similar is a plus.
- 3Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality.
- 4Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- 5Ability to work with small or intricate parts.
- 6Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and measurements.
- 7Reliable and able to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
