Manufacturing Execution System Administrator Lam Research
Overview
We seek a skilled MES Administrator to lead digital transformation of lab and semiconductor manufacturing operations at Lam Research. You will design and support Manufacturing Execution System solutions that enhance traceability automation and data integrity. This role drives factory automation system configurations and integrations while enabling engineers and operations teams through AI-powered solutions and continuous process improvements.
What You'll Do11
- 1Create configure maintain and support MES models and automated workflows
- 2Convert manufacturing and laboratory process flows into automated system models
- 3Support wafer and IP coupon tracking traceability and manufacturing execution processes
- 4Configure and maintain product structures including wafers die sub-silicon products material carriers consumables equipment and facilities
- 5Support and troubleshoot MES MCS MVC RFID wafer ID reader integrations and Lab360 Service Management applications
- 6Develop and maintain interfaces between MES and third-party systems using SECS/GEM HSMS IoT platforms APIs and Message Bus technologies
- 7Perform end-to-end testing and validation across multiple integrated applications and factory systems
- 8Develop SQL queries and reports to support operational analysis troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
- 9Collaborate with engineering laboratory operations manufacturing and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- 10Analyze issues perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- 11Contribute to development of Microsoft Copilot Studio agents and AI-powered support capabilities for factory and laboratory operations
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field
- 22+ years of experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems in a manufacturing environment preferably semiconductor R&D
- 3Hands-on experience creating MES models configuring product and process workflows and converting business requirements into automated system solutions
- 4Experience modeling wafers IP coupons die sub-silicon products equipment facilities material carriers and consumables
- 5Proficiency with SQL databases Operational Data Stores and Data Warehouses for troubleshooting reporting and data analysis
- 6Knowledge of factory automation applications including MES MCS MVC RFID solutions wafer ID readers and Service Management
- 7Strong troubleshooting analytical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- 8Preferred qualifications include experience developing AI-powered solutions workflow automations or Microsoft Copilot Studio agents familiarity with Generative AI LLMs RAG Power Platform and enterprise application integrations
- 9Experience with end-to-end testing and validation across multiple integrated applications
Salary Insight
$72 - $170k per year
