Lead the reliability and scalability of AMHS software controlling Samsung`s automated material transport ecosystem. Transform reactive incident response into proactive reliability while modernizing infrastructure using Python Java and modern SRE practices. What You'll Do6
- 1Ensure high availability performance and scalability of AMHS controlling software suite including Vehicle Control Systems fleet routing logic and material tracking applications
- 2Design and maintain scalable back‑end data pipelines to process high‑throughput logs and events from fab control systems and develop proactive monitoring and observability solutions
- 3Act as primary escalation point for AMHS software anomalies troubleshoot complex bottlenecks network communications IPC RPC and server‑side issues to minimize fab downtime
- 4Reduce manual toil by creating automation scripts for deployment configuration management and system recovery
- 5Collaborate across software engineering and manufacturing execution systems teams to build automation tooling that reduces manual effort and optimizes middleware such as RabbitMQ and Redis
- 6Implement comprehensive observability frameworks using Prometheus Grafana and strengthen incident response capabilities through deep technical expertise
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or equivalent software roles
- 3Strong background in back‑end data engineering including ETL relational NoSQL databases and large‑scale pipelines
- 4Proficiency with observability tools Prometheus Grafana and message brokers like RabbitMQ Redis
- 5Ability to document technical details clearly with excellent English language skills
- 6Experience with Linux/Unix administration and knowledge of equipment control protocols such as SECS/GEM or MES systems
