CACI seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for its Optical and Photonics Systems Division in Orlando. This full-time role involves leading fabrication processes supporting military space and commercial communications systems. What You'll Do9
- 1Lead fabrication process development and documentation including ECOs and build strategies
- 2Drive cost reduction through advanced process control techniques
- 3Direct support personnel during daily manufacturing operations
- 4Propose and implement improvements for complex opto-mechanical assembly
- 5Develop tooling designs and material/process specifications
- 6Plan facilities equipment and resolve manufacturing quality issues
- 7Maintain production yield and cleanliness standards across shifts
- 8Interact with design engineers to ensure hardware producibility
- 9Support electronics system build and modification activities
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or Operations Management with 3 years experience or Associate’s plus 5 years equivalent in optics manufacturing mechanical engineering or similar fields
- 2Proven knowledge of process control cleanroom protocols and complex assembly standards
- 3Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
- 4US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
- 5Familiarity with MIL/IPC workmanship standards IPC-610 IPC-620 MIL-STD-810 MIL-STD-883 NASA specifications
- 6Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems
- 7Minimum 5 years building ETL pipelines using Spark and Airflow
