What You'll Do7

  • 1Drive DFx supplier events and provide manufacturing input to design teams to ensure component producibility.
  • 2Consult with Design Engineers on manufacturability and influence sourcing decisions from a manufacturing perspective.
  • 3Develop and execute supplier manufacturing readiness assessments and technical risk evaluations.
  • 4Support suppliers on quality requirements including PPAP, FAIR, and SABRe standards.
  • 5Perform source inspections on supplier hardware to meet quality and delivery targets.
  • 6Lead a cross-functional team with manufacturing focus to achieve program milestones and customer commitments.
  • 7Foster continuous improvement by sharing best practices and implementing lean methodologies across the supply base.

Requirements9

  • 1Associates degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business with 4+ years in Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, or Purchasing.
  • 2Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business with 2+ years in Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, or Purchasing.
  • 3Masters degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or Business, or 6+ years experience in lieu of degree in a manufacturing environment.
  • 4U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
  • 5Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, preferably Blackbelt certification.
  • 6Strong knowledge of SABRe, FAIR, and PPAP requirements.
  • 7Experience in a global manufacturing environment, including supplier management.
  • 8Proficiency in Rolls-Royce controls manufacturing and certification processes.
  • 9Demonstrated experience in designing manufacturing tooling, gaging, and fixtures.
