What You'll Do25
- 1Operates mandrel polishing equipment to produce production tools
- 2Interprets instructions and sets up equipment according to specifications
- 3Cleans and maintains equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- 4Assists with basic maintenance of tools and advises supervisors on repairs
- 5Prepares accurate records documenting quality and work in progress
- 6Troubleshoots minor production problems to minimize downtime
- 7Performs heat treating and surface polishing of mandrels
- 8Picks up and delivers mandrels to the Shell Fabrication department
- 9Tracks mandrel location and quantity in production systems
- 10Sands mandrels on polishing machines or manually to achieve desired finish
- 11Repairs existing mandrels using buffers and maintains repair logs
- 12Washes, sand blasts, and inspects mandrels for quality control
- 13Monitors equipment and processes to prevent non-compliance issues
- 14Identifies and elevates quality safety and environmental concerns
- 15Reviews device records and prepares required documentation
- 16Maintains good manufacturing practices per cGMP guidelines
- 17Cross trains to assist other departments as needed
- 18Verifies mandrel IDs and produces molded pads for production
- 19Provides training to new employees on mandrel polishing processes
- 20Participates in safety initiatives and reports unsafe conditions
- 21Identifies continuous improvement opportunities for processes
- 22Communicates business issues to management levels
- 23Follows company guidelines for health safety and environmental practices
- 24Ensures subordinate compliance with all regulations and policies
- 25Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent education and experience
- 3Basic computer skills including Windows OS and applications
- 4Ability to read and understand English procedures
- 5Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
- 6Experience reading manufacturing procedures and technical drawings
- 7Familiarity with GMP principles and documentation practices
- 8Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment-specific tasks
