What You'll Do11
- 1Strategic Leadership Define and execute enterprise-wide EMR integration strategy aligned with clinical commercial and product goals.
- 2Develop and own long-term roadmap for scalable secure interoperable EMR integration infrastructure.
- 3Serve as thought leader on EMR interoperability standards HL7 FHIR SMART and vendor ecosystems.
- 4Manage and mentor team of EMR integration engineers analysts and project managers handling hiring onboarding and development.
- 5Establish and evolve team processes performance standards and professional development frameworks.
- 6Oversee full lifecycle of EMR integrations across Epic Cerner Athena and other major platforms from scoping to go-live and long-term support.
- 7Design configure and optimize EMR workflows data exchange protocols and custom interfaces.
- 8Set and enforce best practices for security scalability and compliance HIPAA HITRUST.
- 9Develop proactive monitoring alerting and incident response protocols for production environments.
- 10Partner closely with Product Engineering Sales and Clinical teams to align integration efforts with business objectives.
- 11Represent EMR integration function in executive meetings client engagements and industry conferences.
Requirements6
- 16+ years experience in healthcare IT EMR integration or clinical interoperability including 2-3 years in people or project leadership roles.
- 2Solid technical expertise in major EMR platforms and interoperability standards HL7 FHIR CDA SMART on FHIR APIs.
- 3Proven track record delivering complex integration projects on time and within scope.
- 4Experience managing small-to-mid-sized technical teams.
- 5Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical groups.
- 6Familiarity with agile project management and SDLC best practices.
Salary Insight
$146 - $192k per year
