What You'll Do9

  • 1Establish the strategic direction for all information systems and technology supporting FastMed and Alo/Avance Care, collaborating with executive leadership from both organizations.
  • 2Lead the shared IT organization, ensuring governance, prioritization, and service delivery models effectively support the needs of both partners.
  • 3Own the implementation, operation, and optimization of a joint Epic EHR instance, including clinical, revenue cycle, and ancillary applications.
  • 4Direct professional services including systems analysis, design, feasibility studies, and system integrations across the enterprise.
  • 5Evaluate and recommend new technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, security, and clinical or operational outcomes.
  • 6Oversee shared IT domains: data center, network, cloud infrastructure, endpoint support, security, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
  • 7Manage the IT budget, hardware/software acquisitions, and vendor contracts for the joint environment.
  • 8Monitor and report on IT performance, project delivery, system availability, and cybersecurity posture to executive leadership.
  • 9Establish IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks across the joint environment.

Requirements9

  • 110+ years of comprehensive IT experience, with a significant portion in healthcare leadership.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
  • 3Extensive experience leading all IT functions: business systems, infrastructure, EMR, billing, help desk, and cyber risk mitigation.
  • 4Proven track record in workflow automation, standard operating procedures, and efficiency gains.
  • 5Deep expertise in healthcare IT, particularly Epic EHR, data management, and system interoperability.
  • 6Strong executive-level communication and influence skills, leading through collaboration.
  • 7Ability to balance competing priorities and align technology strategy with business objectives across organizations.
  • 8Highly organized, self-directed, and skilled at managing multiple projects in time-constrained situations.
  • 9Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise software.
