Overview
Clinical Applications Manager responsible for managing core clinical technology environment across multiple clinic sites in Atlanta. This is a hands-on high-visibility role with potential for IT leadership growth. Owner of EHR platform imaging systems and clinical interfaces. Shift from reactive troubleshooting to proactive system management.
What You'll Do12
- 1Administer and maintain EHR and practice management platform across all clinic sites including user access configuration and uptime
- 2Manage imaging system connectivity PACS/DICOM and interfaces linking clinical platforms coordinating with interface developers
- 3Lead technology rollouts for new clinic openings handling hardware readiness system setup and staff training
- 4Build governance standards and SOPs for clinical technology use across organization
- 5Design and deliver training for providers and clinical staff on new and existing systems adapting to technical comfort levels
- 6Act as main point of contact between clinical staff IT team managed services provider and vendors
- 7Contribute to custom development and reporting initiatives including imaging reports integration and expanding EHR mobile AI documentation features
- 8Prior experience in product or application management for leading ambulatory EHR platforms
- 9Exposure to surgical/ambulatory surgery center information systems
- 10Understanding of imaging workflows PACS and DICOM standards
- 11Familiarity with clinical interface engines like Mirth Connect or experience with clinical interface architecture
- 12Demonstrated project management ability including technology governance training rollout and hardware coordination
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Experience with AWS certified
- 33-5 seasons of experience in similar roles
- 4Knowledge of patient engagement tools and payment processing platforms in clinical settings
- 5Exposure to surgical/ambulatory surgery center information systems
- 6Solid understanding of imaging workflows PACS and DICOM standards
- 7Familiarity with clinical interface engines or strong knowledge of how clinical interfaces function
- 8Proven project management skills including technology governance training rollout and hardware coordination across multiple sites
- 9Patient approachable self-starting style with service-minded approach
- 10Concrete experience with NextGen or comparable EHR platforms
- 11Ability to handle occasional travel within Georgia to clinic locations
