Clinic System Administrator - Healthcare IT
Overview
First line support for axiUm and Epic systems. Responsibilities include user interaction, process management, and reporting. This role differs by focusing on transition to Epic and developing custom scripts.
What You'll Do11
- 1Provide first line support for axiUm and Epic systems including user interaction and process management
- 2Analyze and report on clinic operations using SQL and Power BI
- 3Develop scripts to automate tasks within the EHR environment
- 4Maintain and secure EHR systems while ensuring compliance
- 5Prepare documentation and train users on applications and databases
- 6Manage user accounts and perform data extraction from Oracle Server
- 7Design semantic layers aligned with KPIs for analytics
- 8Build dashboards for access, quality, and productivity metrics
- 9Assist in migrating data from axiUm to Epic Clarity structures
- 10Translate stakeholder questions into visualizations and reports
- 11Perform all other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean
Requirements11
- 1Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel Access Outlook
- 2Advanced Excel functions such as PivotTables charts XLOOKUP index/match
- 3Three years experience in application administration or related role
- 4Familiarity with SQL Server Epic Clarity and Caboodle databases
- 5Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 6Epic reporting experience with Clarity Caboodle or Cogito
- 7Experience with data modeling star schemas and Power BI/Tableau
- 8Familiarity with HL7 FHIR concepts and API integration
- 9Proficiency in Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
- 10Experience with cloud analytics platforms like Azure SQL or AWS RDS
- 11Ability to deliver end-to-end Power BI or Tableau dashboards
