Overview

You will own the Epic Ambulatory system across a multi-facility health system, serving as the bridge between vendors, clinicians, and IT teams. You'll analyze workflows, tailor Epic applications to meet clinical and business needs, and lead projects from conception to go-live. You'll work with a collaborative team of analysts and report to the Manager of Information Systems. What You'll Do8

  • 1Design and configure Epic Ambulatory workflows to optimize clinical efficiency
  • 2Lead medium to large projects, from requirements gathering through deployment
  • 3Serve as the primary support contact for end users, troubleshooting escalated issues
  • 4Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to tailor Epic modules
  • 5Coordinate vendor relationships and ensure system updates align with organizational goals
  • 6Document technical configurations and train end users on new features
  • 7Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support, ensuring system uptime
  • 8Validate data integrity and report accuracy across integrated healthcare systems

Requirements7

  • 13-4 years experience in healthcare IT, with Epic Ambulatory certification
  • 2Additional Epic certification in MyChart, CareEverywhere, or Beacon
  • 3High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or clinical field preferred
  • 4Experience with healthcare databases and interfaces in hospital or clinic settings
  • 5Project management experience on medium to large implementations
  • 6Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the service area
  • 7Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
