What You'll Do12
- 1Serve as Epic informatics lead for Clinical and Anatomic Pathology workflows across ambulatory settings
- 2Ensure alignment of Epic solutions with clinical best practices patient safety standards and regulatory requirements
- 3Lead design and continuous improvement of end-to-end pathology workflows including ambulatory and specialty diagnostic pathways
- 4Design and optimize specialized diagnostic workflows such as bone marrow hematopathology and perinatal pathology
- 5Translate clinical operational needs into functional and technical requirements
- 6Standardize workflows across sites while accommodating clinical variation
- 7Identify and mitigate safety risks and workflow inefficiencies
- 8Partner with CMIO pathology leadership to define enterprise strategy and governance frameworks
- 9Develop multi-year roadmap aligned with organizational goals
- 10Build relationships across clinicians lab leadership and IT to drive consensus on workflow changes
- 11Drive change management initiatives and coordinate training programs
- 12Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver scalable solutions
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading complex clinical informatics projects
- 3Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics for physicians
- 4Active clinical licensure and current practice
- 5Experience with Epic modules including Beaker and POC testing workflows
- 6Proficiency in analytics reporting and performance measurement
- 7Strong stakeholder engagement skills across clinical and technical domains
- 8Results-oriented approach to continuous improvement
