Overview
The Manager, Radiology & Imaging leads a Seattle based imaging department delivering high quality patient care. This full time permanent position offers competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead the daily operations of the Radiology and Imaging department
- 2Supervise mentor and develop imaging technologists and administrative staff
- 3Manage approximately 25–28 direct reports including performance evaluations coaching hiring and employee development
- 4Ensure compliance with imaging accreditation standards regulatory requirements and organizational policies
- 5Maintain high standards of patient safety quality and service excellence
- 6Oversee departmental staffing scheduling workflow optimization and resource utilization
- 7Collaborate with physicians nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care and operational performance
- 8Monitor quality metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- 9Support imaging technology operations including PACS exception management when applicable
- 10Ensure compliance with Washington State imaging licensure requirements and national certification standards
- 11Manage departmental budgets productivity and performance goals
Requirements14
- 1High School Diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Imaging program or Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
- 2Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist registration required by date of hire
- 3Current national certification in imaging modality ARRT or equivalent nationally recognized certification
- 4Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as an Imaging Technologist
- 5Minimum 3 years of Radiology Imaging leadership experience with direct reports
- 6Current or prior Assistant Manager Manager or higher level leadership experience within a Radiology Imaging department
- 7Experience conducting employee evaluations hiring coaching disciplinary actions and staff development
- 8Strong knowledge of imaging accreditation standards and regulatory compliance
- 9Excellent leadership communication organizational and problem solving skills
- 10Multi-modality imaging management experience
- 11Hospital based Radiology leadership experience
- 12Experience with integrated healthcare delivery systems
- 13PACS exception management experience
- 14Experience leading quality improvement and operational excellence initiatives
