Director of Diagnostic Imaging - Olathe Hospital
Overview
We seek a credentialed leader to direct diagnostic imaging at Olathe Hospital. The Director will oversee multi-disciplinary imaging services for inpatient and outpatient care while driving operational excellence and community impact. This role ensures alignment with hospital goals through collaborative leadership and strategic resource management.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead cross-functional teams across imaging departments to support growth initiatives
- 2Ensure patient-centered communication between radiologists and clinical staff
- 3Maintain equipment functionality through proactive quality control and capital planning
- 4Analyze patient outcomes using documentation and feedback to drive continuous improvement
- 5Develop realistic budgets based on projected volumes with team collaboration
- 6Eliminate waste processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- 7Assure departmental management within established budget parameters
- 8Oversee equipment maintenance and implement cost-effective technology solutions
- 9Collaborate with department heads to identify alternative diagnostic approaches
- 10Create balanced budgets reflecting seasonal volume fluctuations
- 11Drive department performance through clear goal alignment and transparent reporting
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in SPEC Processing Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound or related field
- 25+ years administrative experience or 10+ years imaging management
- 3Master's degree preferred in SPEC Processing Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound
- 4ARRT Radiography certification upon hire
- 5Kansas Board of Healing Arts certification for radiologic technologists
- 6CPR/AED/BLS certification current
- 7Demonstrated leadership in inpatient imaging environments
- 8Proven track record of managing imaging operations during growth phases
- 9Experience developing and implementing diagnostic research protocols
- 10Ability to align departmental strategies with organizational objectives
- 11Strong analytical skills for performance metric interpretation
