What You'll Do9
- 1Recruit and lead a team of PCBA manufacturing engineers including mentorship and development.
- 2Provide guidance on writing work instructions for board assembly solder rework inspection and acceptance testing.
- 3Implement processes to streamline manufacturing while improving rate quality and reliability.
- 4Set up and run an SMT line supporting development and production objectives.
- 5Build ATP capability for PCBAs including functional and environmental testing.
- 6Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and contribute to PDR and CDR reviews.
- 7Optimize production rate yield and cost of PCBA production.
- 8Ensure timely delivery of PCBAs to box-level assembly.
- 9Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in PCBA manufacturing.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or related field
- 26+ years of demonstrated PCBA manufacturing experience preferably in a high-reliability environment
- 3Strong track record of and commitment to developing and mentoring people
- 4Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in PCBA manufacturing
- 5Preferred Skills and Experience MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or related field
- 66+ years of experience with PCBA manufacturing for space applications
- 7Experience with setting up and running an SMT line
- 8Experience with PCBA inspection techniques such as X-ray CT AOI flying probe
- 9Experience with PCBA functional testing software and firmware and environmental testing thermal cycling vibration thermal vacuum
