What You'll Do6

  • 1Build and perform diagnostic mammograms with high image quality for inpatient and outpatient populations
  • 2Assist Radiologist with needle localizations and patient positioning while ensuring radiation protection policies
  • 3Drive patient comfort and safety, including transport to/from mammography rooms and maintaining a clean, organized facility
  • 4Own maintenance of equipment and dark room supplies, reporting repairs and calibration needs promptly
  • 5Scale quality assurance activities in line with FDA and MQSA requirements and the Medical Center's policies
  • 6Collaborate with team to update procedures addressing gaps in policies and ensure policy alignment with accreditation standards

Requirements5

  • 1ARRT registered or registry eligible for Radiologic Technologist and NJ licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • 2Mammography registry in good standing
  • 3Current American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR AED certification
  • 4AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology graduate
  • 5Strong interpersonal skills and English communication abilities
