You own the full mammography imaging workflow at a multi-location, physician-led imaging center, delivering precise mammograms for up to 20 patients per day. You work alongside a close-knit team of radiologists and technologists, with access to cutting-edge equipment and structured advancement paths. What You'll Do9
- 1Take patient medical histories before each exam to ensure accurate imaging and safety
- 2Sterilize mammographic equipment daily and maintain adequate supply stock
- 3Position patients carefully to capture correct images while ensuring comfort and safety
- 4Explain imaging procedures with tact and clarity to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation
- 5Maintain equipment quality following company standards and support continuous improvement
- 6Evaluate and interpret captured images to confirm diagnostic quality before release
- 7Record mammogram data accurately in patient charts per radiologist protocols
- 8Train new technologists on imaging techniques and patient handling
- 9Lift and move equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs without assistance
Requirements8
- 1ARRT Radiography certification and current ARRT registration
- 2ARRT Mammography certification and current ARRT registration preferred
- 340 hours advanced training in a MQSA approved program plus 25 supervised mammography exams
- 4Current IEMA Licensure
- 5CPR-BLS Certification
- 6Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- 7Previous experience in a diagnostic radiology or imaging setting
- 8Stand, stoop, lift, and walk without restrictions
