What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain refrigeration equipment including freezers refrigerators and coolers
- 2Replace belts service motors controls and refrigerant systems
- 3Service dishwashers water heaters steam kettles cookers mixers ovens gas valves pilot lights thermocouples heating refrigerating units on food carts fans and electrical cords
- 4Install and relocate food services equipment and appliances
- 5Lead teams requisition materials track time and materials manage user equipment maintenance
- 6Assist with district maintenance tasks involving heavy manual labor and skilled work
- 7Knowledge of electrical plumbing building systems kitchen appliance repair electric motors pumps compressors refrigeration heating and plumbing
- 8Apply basic arithmetic work vocabulary English proficiency safety procedures and proper handling of tools and equipment
- 9Estimate time materials maintain records and follow oral and written instructions
- 10Establish cooperative relationships and provide training with up to 2-5 years experience
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 22+ years of relevant experience
- 3Valid driver’s license
- 4HVAC certification required for certain regions
- 5Ability to lift 75-100 lbs regularly
- 6Strong vision including close distance and color vision
- 7Willingness to work nights weekends and holidays
