Overview
Walmart seeks a skilled Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our Charlotte NC team. This role supports repair of supermarket rack refrigeration systems using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration expertise. Candidates will drive results while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain supermarket rack refrigeration systems using Spark and Airflow tools
- 2Design preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime
- 3Lead emergency repair teams to resolve urgent climate control issues
- 4Inspect and test HVAC/R equipment to identify operational problems
- 5Complete all required training for safe operation of heavy machinery
- 6Utilize work order management system to prioritize and track repairs
- 7Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations during all tasks
- 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve facility efficiency
- 9Document maintenance activities and equipment performance metrics
Requirements7
- 12 years experience with commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
- 2Type I/II EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
- 3Valid state driver’s license with clean record
- 418 years or older with High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5Ability to lift 75 pounds and work at heights
- 6Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and diagnostic techniques
- 7Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
Salary Insight
$48 - $94k per year
