Overview

2nd shift maintenance role owning mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance for high‑pressure boilers in an automated facility. You will troubleshoot, install, repair, and service equipment including conveyors and motors with a 70/30 mechanical to electrical mix. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Build and repair industrial equipment including conveyors, motors, and related systems to minimize downtime.
  • 2Diagnose and fix hydraulic and pneumatic systems as part of routine maintenance.
  • 3Use PLC troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve control system issues.
  • 4Perform electrical troubleshooting and basic electrical maintenance on equipment and control systems.
  • 5Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and high‑pressure boilers to ensure safe operation.
  • 6Conduct welding and fabrication tasks to support repairs and modifications.
  • 7Document maintenance activities to support accurate equipment histories and compliance.
  • 8Collaborate with operations to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • 9Follow all safety procedures when working with boilers, electrical systems, and tools.

Requirements10

  • 1Hands-on experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic in an industrial environment.
  • 2Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to service conveyors, motors, and industrial machinery.
  • 3Experience performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • 4Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, including diagnosing and repairing related system issues.
  • 5Ability to perform basic welding tasks to support equipment repair and maintenance.
  • 6Capability to perform PLC troubleshooting to identify issues in automated control systems.
  • 7Skill in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance on industrial equipment, with willingness to learn additional electrical tasks.
  • 8Availability to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday) and every other Saturday.
  • 9Desirable: possession of a 2B boilers license and experience with high‑pressure boilers.
  • 10Experience in a clean, modern, automated manufacturing environment.
