What You'll Do8

  • 1Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns from guests and staff within 90 days, resolving issues in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
  • 2Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, using checklists to ensure compliance with hotel procedures.
  • 3Maintain an attractive and well-kept property by executing tasks in carpentry, painting, wall covering, and tiling across all areas.
  • 4Operate hand and power tools safely to repair and maintain fixtures, furniture, and building components.
  • 5Clean and maintain the pool and spa area, ensuring water quality and safety standards, with Certified Pool Operator license preferred.
  • 6Address all life safety concerns, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and exit systems, to meet safety regulations.
  • 7Support departmental maintenance programs, documenting work and tracking inventory of supplies and parts.
  • 8Collaborate with hotel staff to minimize guest disruption during maintenance activities, prioritizing service excellence.

Requirements8

  • 13+ years of maintenance experience in a commercial or hospitality setting.
  • 2Proficiency in hand and power tool operation, with a working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • 3General computer knowledge, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office for work orders and communication.
  • 4HVAC Certification or licensing strongly preferred.
  • 5Certified Pool Operator license preferred, or ability to obtain post-hire.
  • 6Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • 7High school diploma or equivalent preferred; open to candidates without a diploma or college degree.
  • 8Flexibility to work full-time, including weekends and holidays as needed.
