Maintenance Technician Bayou Processing Storage
Overview
We seek an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join Bayou Processing & Storage in east Houston. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing electrical power sources for equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will drive improvements and lead training initiatives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Handles needed repairs for equipment and or facilities
- 2Completes Preventive Maintenance on all equipment
- 3Maintains tool inventory and in proper storage
- 4Maintains inventory of replacement parts and equipment
- 5Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order
- 6Updates maintenance and repair logs for equipment
- 7Maintains a safe neat and orderly facility always
- 8Identifies process deficiencies and reports them to management
- 9Attends and or leads all required training and safety sessions
- 10Immediately reports all safety violations or unsafe work conditions
- 11Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements12
- 1Previous experience with maintenance repair of electrical hydraulic and mechanical systems on industrial equipment
- 2Strong mechanical skills and ability to use power and hand tools
- 3Strong math aptitude
- 4Ability to reach and follow service repair manuals
- 5Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- 6Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- 7Physical ability to bend stretch kneel and squat to perform repairs and inspections
- 8Ability to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
- 9Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
- 10Manual agility to operate tools safely and effectively
- 11Full-body mobility balance and upper and lower-body strength
- 12Visual and auditory acuity to identify hazards read and record measurements
