Overview
The Maintenance Superintendent at Counterpoint Management oversees all property maintenance operations across 144 units in Boston ensuring compliance with codes and timely resolution of work orders. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans for grounds facility electrical mechanical and equipment
- 2Design and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce emergency repairs
- 3Supervise and direct maintenance staff including on-call duties during emergencies
- 4Perform basic plumbing electrical and carpentry repairs independently
- 5Coordinate tenant move-ins and turnovers with efficiency and professionalism
- 6Ensure all work meets federal city and state housing inspection standards
- 7Maintain physical stamina for extensive site visits and lifting tasks
- 8Develop relationships with vendors and contractors to optimize service delivery
- 9Implement safety protocols for all personnel and property occupants
Requirements9
- 15+ years building maintenance management experience
- 2Certification in CPC Card or BCBA preferred
- 3Proficiency with Python AWS React and Kubernetes
- 4Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for on-call assignments
- 5Ability to lift 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- 6Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse tenant populations
- 7Experience with federal housing inspection processes
