Maintenance Associate Janitor, Gym Cleaning
Overview
You will own the cleanliness and upkeep of a busy Blink Fitness gym floor. This role keeps equipment, locker rooms, and restrooms in top condition for members. You work with a small facilities team covering high-traffic areas daily. The position demands physical stamina and attention to detail. What You'll Do10
- 1Keep the gym floor clean and orderly during operating hours
- 2Deep clean locker rooms and restrooms, including showers and toilets
- 3Clean and sanitize workout equipment such as treadmills, weights, and mats
- 4Lift and move gym equipment weighing 15-20 lbs frequently and 45 lbs occasionally
- 5Perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment, including vacuums and floor buffers
- 6Organize custodial closets and storage spaces to maintain inventory
- 7Follow all company policies and procedures for safety and hygiene
- 8Maintain regular and punctual attendance to support shift coverage
- 9Solve cleaning and maintenance problems as they arise on the floor
- 10Support team members with additional cleaning tasks when needed
Requirements7
- 1Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or related fields
- 2Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting 45 lbs
- 3Strong attention to detail in all cleaning tasks
- 4Strong organizational skills for managing supplies and equipment
- 5Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy gym environment
- 6Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings
- 7Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods
