Custodian Job, Raleigh NC - Planet Fitness
Overview
You will own the cleanliness of a Planet Fitness club in Raleigh, NC, ensuring every surface, restroom, and piece of equipment meets our high standards for a positive member experience. You will work under the General Manager and Assistant Manager, using industrial floor scrubbers and vacuums to maintain the facility. You will also train and guide part-time cleaners to uphold Excel values and performance metrics. This role offers a free Black Card membership and access to MyFlexPay for financial flexibility.
What You'll Do8
- 1Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas daily, including sinks, mirrors, and stall walls.
- 2Detail clean windows, baseboards, walls, and handrails to remove fingerprints and scuff marks.
- 3Vacuum and scrub all rubber and tile flooring across the gym floor and auxiliary rooms, including under equipment.
- 4Empty trash from all waste areas and ensure disposal bins are not overflowing.
- 5Dust and clean air vents, TVs, signage, storage doors, and light fixtures.
- 6Organize storage rooms and arrange cleaning products on shelving racks, discarding loose boxes and trash.
- 7Assist management with inventory of cleaning supplies and report usage needs.
- 8Train part-time cleaners on cleaning procedures and ensure they meet performance standards.
Requirements7
- 118+ years old with a HS diploma or equivalent.
- 2Prior custodial experience preferred.
- 3Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
- 4Honest and humble work ethic.
- 5Strong communication skills with internal and external customers.
- 6Team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
- 7Ability to think critically and solve problems proactively.
