Mac JAMF Engineer, Endpoint Management
Overview
As a Mac / JAMF Endpoint Engineer, you will own the backend configuration, maintenance, and support for workstation and security applications across a global environment. You will configure Apple Enterprise Services, Apple ABM, and Microsoft Intune, and build automated deployment packages for self-service. You will plan detailed requirements for infrastructure services, pilot new technologies, and create solution documentation for the Global Help Desk. This role offers the chance to shape endpoint standards for a large enterprise.
What You'll Do6
- 1Configure and maintain backend settings for JAMF and Microsoft Intune to support workstation and security applications.
- 2Plan detailed requirements for new and changing infrastructure services, including Apple Enterprise Services and Apple ABM.
- 3Build and prepare packages for automated deployment and self-service using JAMF and Munki.
- 4Build and test pilot versions of new and changing services to ensure stability and user readiness.
- 5Create solution documentation for the Global Help Desk, covering common issues and resolutions.
- 6Debug and resolve endpoint management issues across macOS environments.
Requirements6
- 15+ years of hands-on experience with JAMF and macOS endpoint management.
- 2Experience configuring Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Apple Enterprise Services.
- 3Experience with Microsoft Intune for co-management or security policy enforcement.
- 4Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation and packaging.
- 5Experience with package building tools such as Composer, AutoPkg, or Munki.
- 6Proven track record of documenting technical solutions for help desk teams.
Salary Insight
