What You'll Do10

  • 1Lead and coordinate the work of CNAs to ensure consistent, high quality care.
  • 2Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to their plan of care.
  • 3Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents.
  • 4Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • 5Explain procedures and treatments to residents to gain cooperation and reduce apprehension.
  • 6Monitor vital signs and track progress to identify deviations and trends.
  • 7Maintain accurate medical records of treatments, medications, and responses.
  • 8Document care plans and ensure continuity of care across shifts.
  • 9Support residents emotionally and prepare them for ongoing care after discharge.
  • 10Perform other duties as required to deliver exceptional resident care.
