What You'll Do10

  • 1Administer medications per physician orders and state regulations.
  • 2Complete admission assessments and documentation for new residents.
  • 3Update resident service plans and track clinical areas like wound care and infection control.
  • 4Monitor residents for health changes and notify physicians and families promptly.
  • 5Respond to resident emergencies with professionalism and speed.
  • 6Document clinical observations accurately in the electronic health record.
  • 7Provide guidance to care staff and support team collaboration.
  • 8Educate residents and staff on health topics and safety practices.
  • 9Attend trainings and staff meetings to maintain clinical competency.
  • 10Follow safety and disaster plans to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements9

  • 1Current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • 21-2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
  • 3Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • 4Associates degree in nursing or higher.
  • 5Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
  • 6Ability to remain calm and responsive in urgent situations.
  • 7Organized and attentive to detail in documentation and care.
  • 8Genuine passion for working with seniors.
  • 9Commitment to upholding resident confidentiality and professional conduct.
