Lot Assistant Tow Truck Driver, ADESA Framingham & Vehicle Operations
Overview
Own the on lot movements and vehicle readiness at a Carvana owned auction site. You will support lot operations, driving a service truck, a non DOT tow truck, and a forklift to maintain accurate inventory flow. Collaborate with shop and operations teams to move vehicles from check-in to sale line. This role blends hands on vehicle care with customer service and admin coordination.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and stage vehicles for sale including applying stickers and marking vehicles on the spot
- 2Scan the lot and record vehicle movements to maintain accurate inventory
- 3Assist with vehicle readiness tasks such as jumping, adding fluids, air to tires, and verifying status
- 4Operate service truck tow truck and forklift to support driver team and inventory flow
- 5Communicate with shop and operations teams to ensure efficient sale day flow
- 6Provide customer service support and coordinate with administrative teams
- 7Confirm vehicle mileage, make year and VIN for accurate records
- 8Maintain clean safe work areas and report hazards
- 9Remove personal property from vehicles as needed
- 10Perform other duties assigned by the manager
Requirements6
- 1High School diploma or GED preferred
- 2Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
- 3Able to safely drive tow trucks forklifts and the service truck
- 4Automotive or auction experience preferred
- 5Proficiency with computer systems and applications
- 6Obtain and maintain forklift certification
