Overview
Growing Wixom based manufacturer seeks LOGISTICS COORDINATOR to lead domestic and international shipments. This role drives accuracy timeliness and regulatory compliance across all transport modes.
What You'll Do5
- 1Obtain quotes schedule and track domestic and international shipments using LTL FTL Air and Ocean Container/Breakbulk methods
- 2Prepare and manage Bills of Lading Commercial Invoices Packing Lists Certificates of Origin export customs documentation and ISO shipping records
- 3Partner with internal production purchasing engineering and project management teams as well as external customers and carriers to share shipment updates
- 4Verify freight invoices track costs identify efficiency gains and build strong relationships with carriers freight forwarders and customs brokers
- 5Own and scale logistics processes drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with all regulations
Requirements5
- 1Skilled in logistics coordination shipment scheduling international shipping documentation management freight negotiation problem solving time management customer service strong communication multitasking
- 2Strong technical aptitude with Microsoft Office including Excel Outlook and Word
- 3Proven experience in manufacturing logistics ISO 9001 quality system familiarity with ERP MRP software and deep knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- 45+ years experience managing ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 5Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business or related field
