What You'll Do8
- 1Greet customers at the loading area, confirm order details, and load merchandise using power equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- 2Stage and prepare customer and contractor orders, ensuring accuracy and product quality before pickup.
- 3Operate Zebra phones and CCTV to track orders and report safety hazards to management.
- 4Proactively engage Pro customers, building relationships and promoting MyLowe's Pro Rewards and Pro Credit.
- 5Maintain clean and safe work areas in the parking lot and under the Pro canopy, following Lowe's safety policies.
- 6Support garden center associates by loading plants and bulky items, using proper lifting techniques.
- 7Assist with cart retrieval and keep the storefront organized, especially during peak hours.
- 8Complete required spotter and power equipment training within the first 30 days.
Requirements8
- 16 months experience using a computer, including data entry and accessing information.
- 26 months experience using retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
- 3Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
- 4High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 56 months retail experience, preferably at a home improvement retailer.
- 66 months experience loading and unloading merchandise from vehicles.
- 76 months merchandising experience, including stocking and facing product.
- 8Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate power equipment safely.
