Overview
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team in Teaneck, New Jersey. Our firm is expanding and requires an additional Case Manager to support ongoing litigation operations. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits.
What You'll Do9
- 1Handle all aspects of personal injury files from filing the complaint until the conclusion of the case
- 2Maintain frequent and compassionate communication with clients regarding case status treatment progress and legal steps
- 3Draft correspondence pleadings discovery responses and settlement demands
- 4Coordinate with medical providers to obtain and summarize records and bills
- 5Prepare cases for arbitration mediation and trial as necessary
- 6Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and appearances
- 7Lead efforts to streamline case processes and improve efficiency
- 8Utilize legal case management software to drive productivity
- 9Drive improvements in workflow automation
Requirements11
- 15+ years building litigation experience with personal injury focus
- 23-10 years total litigation experience required
- 3AWS Certified preferred for cloud-based case management solutions
- 4CPC Card certification in personal injury law preferred
- 5BCBA certification in paralegal services required
- 6Python proficiency for data analysis tasks
- 7React knowledge beneficial for internal tool development
- 8Kubernetes familiarity advantageous for scalable systems
- 9Spark and Airflow experience a plus for ETL pipeline development
- 10Excel and PowerPoint mastery essential
- 11Strong understanding of New Jersey tort law and court procedures
