Lead a manufacturing line on the 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM shift at a major beverage bottling facility. Own safety, quality, and line performance with a focus on reducing losses and improving uptime. Collaborate with line leads and the Manufacturing Line Manager to drive training, staffing, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build shift direction and action plans to attack losses and improve line reliability
  • 2Own DDS process including shift handover and planned stops to deliver results for current and next shift
  • 3Coach and develop the shift team to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • 4Solve line losses and performance outages with the line functional team
  • 5Allocate staff to workstations and planned stops and communicate direction to teams
  • 6Plan and execute training with the Manufacturing Line Manager and coach skill development
  • 7Resolve staffing issues with other Line Shift leaders and escalate critical safety or quality concerns
  • 8Ensure all shift documentation and SOPs are completed per standard
  • 9Maintain knowledge of plant standards for safety, break-time, scheduling, and overtime management
  • 10Document and report results and feedback from DDS to drive continuous improvement

Requirements5

  • 1High School Diploma or GED required
  • 22+ years working as production or machine operator
  • 3Experience in high-speed food manufacturing or bottling operations preferred
  • 4Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial technology, food manufacturing experience preferred
  • 5Ability to work onsite on the 1:00 PM–9:30 PM shift and perform with minimal supervision
