Overview
Lead R&D strategy engagements for biopharma clients focusing on AI-enabled transformation across discovery development and delivery. Advise Heads of R&D on strategy pipeline management scientific data AI integration operational excellence and operating models. Partner with Accenture to grow practice and deliver measurable client impact.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead complex R&D strategy engagements from problem framing through delivery ensuring measurable client impact.
- 2Advise clients on transformation priorities including strategy pipeline portfolio management scientific data AI integration R&D operational excellence and operating model.
- 3Develop and present strategic recommendations transformation roadmaps and reinvention narratives to senior stakeholders.
- 4Serve as guiding presence throughout program lifecycle shaping critical program stages driving quality assurance and delivery excellence.
- 5Build manage and grow senior client relationships across biopharma R&D functions partnering with Accenture to address client needs.
- 6Originate and shape new opportunities lead proposals and commercial pursuits contributing to pipeline growth in Life Sciences R&D.
- 7Identify adjacent opportunities and expand existing client relationships across the R&D value chain.
- 8Represent Accenture R&D Strategy viewpoint in client briefings industry forums and executive conversations.
- 9Develop and contribute to thought leadership on R&D transformation AI-driven discovery and scientific innovation publishing assets establishing differentiated perspective.
- 10Build reusable offerings frameworks and assets accelerating future client engagements.
- 11Mentor junior colleagues contribute to performance management and recruiting.
Requirements11
- 1At least 8 years combined experience in Life Sciences R&D at top-tier consulting firms or leading biopharma companies in transformation roles.
- 2Proven track record leading strategy engagements with measurable outcomes for biopharma clients.
- 3Experience developing and presenting strategic recommendations transformation roadmaps to C-suite SVP and VP-level R&D stakeholders.
- 4Strong understanding of AI data digital technologies and scientific informatics reshaping biopharma R&D translating insights into client strategy.
- 5Demonstrated success in business development identifying opportunities shaping proposals and building senior client relationships.
- 6Experience leading cross-functional teams managing junior professionals.
- 7Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as client and business needs require.
- 8Bachelor's degree.
- 9Bonus points for MBA advanced scientific degree PhD PharmD MD or equivalent experience.
- 10Track record developing thought leadership whitepapers conference presentations or published perspectives in life sciences or R&D.
- 11Exercise across multiple biopharma sub-sectors and geographies.
