Lead end-to-end R&D strategy workstreams and engagements for biopharma clients, driving AI-enabled transformation across discovery to delivery. Own strategy initiatives and advise Heads of R&D on pipeline management and operational excellence. Shape client relationships and contribute to practice growth through thought leadership.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead complex R&D strategy workstreams and small engagements from problem framing through delivery ensuring measurable client impact
- 2Advise clients on R&D transformation priorities including strategy pipeline portfolio management scientific data AI integration operational excellence
- 3Develop and present strategic recommendations transformation roadmaps reinvention narratives to Heads of R&D and senior stakeholders
- 4Serve as guiding presence throughout workstream lifecycle shaping deliverables driving quality assurance and delivery excellence
- 5Build and grow client relationships across biopharma R&D functions partnering with Accenture team to support engagements in Data AI Technology Strategy Advisory Talent Organization
- 6Identify adjacent opportunities and expand existing client relationships across the R&D value chain
- 7Contribute to thought leadership on R&D transformation scientific innovation developing reusable offerings frameworks accelerating future engagements
- 8Mentor and develop junior colleagues actively participating in performance management recruitment
- 9Partner with global industry leads capability leads cross-functional teams to evolve R&D Strategy practice and go-to-market strategy
Requirements10
- 1At least 5 years combined experience in Life Sciences R&D strategy consulting or leading biopharma R&D transformation
- 2Proven track record leading strategy work with measurable outcomes for biopharma clients
- 3Strong understanding of AI data digital technologies scientific informatics reshaping biopharma R&D translating insights into client strategy
- 4Demonstrated success supporting business development identifying opportunities shaping solutions building client relationships
- 5Experience managing teams and junior professionals willing to travel domestically and internationally
- 6Bachelor's degree preferred MBA or advanced scientific degree PhD PharmD MD or equivalent experience
- 7Track record developing thought leadership whitepapers conference presentations published perspectives in life sciences R&D
- 8Operating across multiple biopharma sub-sectors large pharma emerging biotech CROs medtech and geographies
- 9Ability to balance leadership with collaborative contributions to team collective efforts
- 10Passion for continual learning resilient energy driven and effective communicator with strong client colleague relationships
