Life Enrichment Ambassador, Behavioral Health & Long-Term Care
Overview
As a Life Enrichment Ambassador at Crestwood Terrace, you will own the daily activity experience for adults receiving long-term and behavioral health services. You will plan and lead recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that encourage participation and personal growth. What You'll Do7
- 1Plan and lead fun, engaging, and therapeutic activities that encourage resident participation and socialization.
- 2Work with the Activities team to support each resident's individual goals and recovery journey, reporting concerns to the Activity Director.
- 3Monitor participation, document progress, and evaluate program effectiveness to improve outcomes.
- 4Bring fresh ideas for events, seasonal celebrations, and meaningful daily activities that enrich lives.
- 5Build positive relationships with residents, promoting social interaction, confidence, and meaningful engagement.
- 6Create a warm, inclusive, and safe environment, maintaining an organized activity space.
- 7Perform related duties as assigned to support the team and residents.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2Experience in long-term care or post-acute care preferred, not required.
- 3Basic computer knowledge required.
- 4Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- 5Must push, pull, move, or lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- 6Ability to stand for 1-hour intervals for up to 75% of the workday.
- 7Pass a pre-employment physical examination.
