What You'll Do10
- 1Build relationships with residents and families while delivering compassionate care
- 2Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and timeliness
- 3Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in patient records
- 4Collaborate with nurses and other professionals to coordinate care
- 5Support supervision and guidance of junior staff and CNAs as applicable
- 6Ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols
- 7Assess residents to identify changes in condition and escalate as needed
- 8Provide excellent customer service and clear family communication
- 9Maintain accurate documentation and basic computer records
- 10Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements7
- 1Active Texas LVN license
- 2LVN degree from an accredited nursing program
- 3Two or more years of nursing experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred
- 4Strong assessment and clinical skills with supervisory and communication abilities
- 5BLS certification required and Certified Dementia Practitioner preferred or to be obtained on hire
- 6Excellent customer service skills and basic computer proficiency
- 7Reliable transportation for timely shift arrival
