Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Immunization Clinic
Overview
You will administer vaccines and manage patient flow at a busy outpatient immunization clinic in Minneapolis. Work with LPN peers and a provider to deliver hands-on care. Part-time schedule: Monday and Friday. Your immunization skills will be the backbone of this patient-facing role.
What You'll Do9
- 1Administer influenza, COVID-19, and TB test placements
- 2Obtain and document vital signs
- 3Complete patient intake, registration, and checkout
- 4Document patient information in EPIC EMR
- 5Provide vaccine education and counseling to patients
- 6Assist the provider during urgent or emergency situations
- 7Manage wait room flow and appointment scheduling
- 8Make patient reminder and follow-up calls
- 9Chaperone sensitive examinations when needed
Requirements8
- 1Active LPN or LVN license
- 2Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program
- 31+ year of healthcare experience
- 4Previous immunization/vaccination experience required
- 5Experience administering vaccines and providing vaccine education
- 6Experience documenting patient care in EMR (preferred EPIC)
- 7Comfortable obtaining vital signs
- 8Current BLS certification including CPR/AED
