Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Occupational Health
Overview
The LVN owns vaccine administration and clinical support for employer onsite events across San Diego. You will deliver immunizations, PPD tests, EKGs, and blood draws while maintaining safety and accuracy. This role works with a collaborative team in a leading occupational medicine group. You will support a network of 42 centers, serving diverse employers. The position offers flexible scheduling and a chance to grow in a rapidly expanding field.
What You'll Do8
- 1Administer vaccines following established clinical protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- 2Perform blood draws and specimen collection for employer onsite events.
- 3Place and read PPD (TB) tests, documenting results accurately.
- 4Conduct EKGs and ensure precise documentation of results.
- 5Support onsite service requests as needed, adapting to varied employer environments.
- 6Maintain proper documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- 7Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
- 8Perform additional duties as assigned to support team goals.
Requirements4
- 1Active LVN license in good standing in California.
- 2Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) required.
- 3Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- 4Experience with FMCSA consortium is a plus.
