Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Geriatric Care - Portland, OR
Overview
You will own resident care delivery at Touchmark at Fairway Village, a premier retirement community in Southwest Washington. You will hold a team of caregivers accountable for person-centered care while coordinating with Life Enrichment and Health Services to ensure smooth move-ins and tailored plans. Starting wage is $38.00/hr, with predominantly day shifts and weekend rotations. This role offers the chance to build relationships and make a daily difference in a mission-driven environment.
What You'll Do6
- 1Deliver quality care by holding caregivers accountable for person-centered care and following resident care policies and procedures.
- 2Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth move-in experiences for each resident.
- 3Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to develop life enrichment plans based on strengths, abilities, interests, and physician recommendations.
- 4Assist the Health Services Director with staff scheduling, recruitment, and training.
- 5Ensure compliance with state regulations, safety regulations, and sanitation requirements.
- 6Provide on-call support to medication aides and caregivers when needed.
Requirements6
- 1LPN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current Washington LPN license.

- 3Willingness to be on-call and provide assistance when needed.
- 4Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
- 5Proficiency with computers, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- 6Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
