What You'll Do10
- 1Build ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services for children in natural environments
- 2Educate families on intervention strategies to enable carry-over
- 3Work in diverse settings including client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings
- 4Follow and update family/child therapy plans and document progress
- 5Prepare progress reports and maintain confidential records in line with HIPAA and regulations
- 6Maintain child records and submit required documentation within timelines
- 7Collaborate with clinical supervisors and administrative staff to ensure service quality
- 8Support paperless billing and data collection processes
- 9Contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary team to enhance child outcomes
- 10Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in supervision sessions
Requirements10
- 1Must have a passion for working with children and families
- 2Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York
- 31-2 years of experience with children birth-5 preferred but not required
- 4Self-motivated team player with patience and professionalism
- 5Fluency in a language other than English is a plus
- 6Must be able to travel to assigned cases and use various transportation modes
- 7Physical ability to lift 10 pounds and to sit, crawl, or kneel as needed
- 8Starting hourly rate $55.00-$80.00 based on experience and education
- 9Ability to adhere to HIPAA, state, and federal regulations for records
- 10Able to adapt to changing job responsibilities and comply with equal opportunity policies
