What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct substance use assessments and screenings for new clients
- 2Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals for each client
- 3Provide individual, group, and family counseling services
- 4Complete biopsychosocial assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
- 5Monitor client progress and adjust treatment recommendations as needed
- 6Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams and community providers
- 7Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards, HIPAA regulations, and accreditation requirements
- 8Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing training
Requirements8
- 1Current Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) credential in good standing
- 2High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in behavioral health preferred
- 3Experience providing substance use disorder counseling and treatment services
- 4Strong understanding of assessment procedures, case management, and treatment planning
- 5Demonstrated ability to complete thorough, detailed, and clinically appropriate documentation
- 6Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and healthcare technology platforms
- 7Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and web-based applications
- 8Ability to work independently in a clinical environment
