Leasing Consultant, Real Estate Leasing & Customer Service
Overview
The Leasing Consultant will own apartment rentals and renewals at a busy property management site with a focus on maximizing occupancy. You’ll engage with prospective and current residents, guide tours, qualify prospects, and manage move-ins and move-outs at scale across 369 units. You’ll work with a collaborative team to deliver relationships, development, quality, and responsibility in every interaction.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build relationships with prospective residents and schedule property tours
- 2Show available apartments and guide prospects to select units that fit their needs
- 3Qualify renters using approved procedures and maintain accurate pipeline data
- 4Move-in new residents, review lease terms, explain rules, and conduct move-in inspections
- 5Process move-outs, conduct inspections, and document conditions for turnover
- 6Follow-up with prospects and residents to encourage renewals and referrals
- 7Support property efficiency by coordinating with the Property Manager and team
- 8Attend required trainings and meetings to stay compliant and informed
- 9Maintain knowledge of competitive properties through public information
- 10Assist with light cleaning and upkeep to ensure rent-ready units
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 21-2 years of customer service and/or sales experience required
- 3Previous leasing experience preferred
- 4Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- 5Ability to travel for trainings, meetings and company events
- 6Basic computer literacy including email and web applications
- 7Real Estate Licenses must not be active while employed in this role
- 8Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and navigate stairs and uneven surfaces as needed
- 9Excellent organizational and time management skills
- 10A courteous, professional demeanor and the ability to work well with the public
