Leasing Agent, Apartment Property Management
Overview
Own the full leasing cycle at a bustling Dallas apartment community, from marketing vacancies to closing leases. You will show units, process applications, and execute leases to keep occupancy high. You report to the property manager and coordinate with maintenance and other staff. This role lets you be the face of the property and directly impact revenue, with steady support from a certified staffing agency.
What You'll Do8
- 1Market available properties to attract prospective tenants, using platforms like Apartments.com and Zillow
- 2Conduct property tours and answer tenant inquiries with a focus on closing same-day leases
- 3Process rental applications and run background checks using Yardi or ResMan
- 4Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring all Fair Housing regulations are met
- 5Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including inspections and deposits
- 6Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant communications in CRM systems
- 7Address tenant concerns and facilitate resolutions with maintenance teams
- 8Collaborate with property management to optimize occupancy rates and minimize turnover
Requirements7
- 11-2 years of leasing or sales experience in multifamily housing
- 2Strong customer service and communication skills
- 3Ability to walk properties for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- 4Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property errands
- 5Proficiency in MS Office and property management software
- 6Weekend availability for tours and open houses
- 7High school diploma or equivalent; Certified Apartment Leasing Professional is a plus
